Description
D'ni is the constructed language of the underground civilization in the Myst video game series. Created by Richard A. Watson of Cyan Worlds, it features a unique base-25 numeral system, its own alphabet, and a grammar that was developed to feel ancient and alien. The D'ni people in the game's lore are master writers who can create links to other worlds through special books. The language appears throughout the Myst games and tie-in novels, and has been studied and expanded by the dedicated Myst fan community.
