Shiväisith is the dark, guttural language of the Dark Elves from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Description
Shiväisith is the constructed language of the Dark Elves (Svartálfar) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, first appearing in Thor: The Dark World (2013). Created by David J. Peterson, the language was designed to sound ancient, dark, and otherworldly. It features a complex phonology with sounds uncommon in European languages, and a grammar inspired by the alien nature of the Dark Elves. While it has limited screen time, Peterson developed a full grammar and vocabulary for the language.
