Toki Pona is a minimalist language with only ~120 words, designed to simplify thoughts and promote mindfulness.

Toki Pona was created by Canadian translator and language creator Sonja Lang in 2001. With only about 120-137 root words, it is one of the smallest languages ever created. The philosophy behind Toki Pona draws from Taoism and minimalism — the idea that by reducing language to its essentials, we can think more clearly. Despite its tiny vocabulary, speakers combine words creatively to express complex ideas. It has its own writing system (sitelen pona) and an active online community.
