Huttese is the constructed language spoken by Jabba the Hutt and other characters in the Star Wars universe. Created by sound designer Ben Burtt for A New Hope (1977), it draws heavily from Quechua, with additional influences from other real-world languages. Huttese serves as a galactic trade language in the Star Wars lore, spoken across the Outer Rim territories. While not as formally developed as Klingon or Na'vi, it has a recognizable sound and several documented phrases from the films.
