Synonyms
- mendi
- akiri
Use aĉeti when talking about purchasing goods or services. It's a transitive verb (takes a direct object: aĉeti ion). Common forms: mi aĉetas (I buy), li/ŝi aĉetis (he/she bought), ni aĉetos (we will buy). For ordering something in advance you can use mendi; akiri is broader and means to obtain (not necessarily by purchase).
