Νερό is a very common neuter noun used for drinking water and water in general. You usually say ένα ποτήρι νερό (a glass of water) or ένα μπουκάλι νερό (a bottle of water). In casual speech people also say ένα νερό to mean a bottled water at a café. Ύδωρ is more formal/poetic, while νεράκι is a colloquial/diminutive form. Use νερό for everyday needs (drinking, cooking, referring to tap/bottled water).
