Synonyms

  • falls
  • wa
Wann is used both for conditional 'if' and for temporal 'when' (especially for repeated or expected events). 'Falls' is similar and often used for 'in case', while 'wa' is more colloquial. Place 'wann' at the start of subordinate clauses as in the examples; word order follows normal Luxembourgish clause rules.
