About Goa'uld
Goa'uld is the constructed language spoken by the parasitic alien race of the same name in the Stargate franchise. First appearing in the 1994 film and expanded throughout Stargate SG-1 (1997-2007), the language has an ancient, commanding quality befitting a race that posed as Egyptian gods. It incorporates elements of ancient Egyptian and was developed across 10 seasons of television. The language includes a distinct writing system based on hieroglyphics.
