Mando'a is the constructed language of the Mandalorian people in the Star Wars universe. First created by Jesse Harlin for the Republic Commando video game (2005) and expanded by author Karen Traviss in the novel series, it features a relatively simple grammar with Subject-Verb-Object word order, no grammatical gender, and a vocabulary centered around warfare, honor, and clan loyalty. The language gained massive popularity with The Mandalorian TV series. Mando'a has over 1,200 documented words and an active fan community.
