Use τηλέφωνο for the phone device or when referring to calls. For a mobile phone Greeks often say κινητό; σταθερό τηλέφωνο means landline. The verb 'to call' is τηλεφωνώ (e.g. Θα σε τηλεφωνήσω = I'll call you). Pronunciation stress is on the second syllable: ti-LE-fo-no.
