How they differ

되다 is broader and more context-dependent than 가능하다. It often means something works, is acceptable, or turns out okay, whereas 가능하다 specifically means something is possible or feasible.

When to use each

When to use 가능하다: Use 가능하다 when you want to state feasibility clearly without implying success, acceptability, or “working out.”

When to use 되다: Use 되다 when you mean something works in practice, is allowed, or can go through successfully.
